Life.

So, when I started this blog my good intention was to write a new post every other week. As you may, or may not have noticed, that did not happen. My last post was roughly two months ago. I have no excuses, just reasons.

For one, my full time job is being a Kindergarten teacher. If you are a teacher yourself, or know a teacher, you know that the school year is busy! On top of teaching, I changed districts this year, so that's an adjustment in itself. The past two months we had report cards and conferences!

Second, I lost my creativity! I didn't know what on Earth I could blog about. My life is mundane, as many of our lives are, and I didn't know what I could possibly type up that would be even remotely interesting.

Third off, my baby turned two! AH! So emotional. Since he is truly a pandemic baby, his first birthday was virtual and so we went all out for his second birthday - and man that was a part time job. I basically crocheted my orders and planned a party after bedtime. No time to blog about my mediocre life.

Fourth, we had and are having some big life changes. Some of these things I will share, eventually.

So here I am, showing up, to tell you why I haven't showed up. Life got away from me, my motivation wavered and I sat on some ideas for future blog posts, crochet projects and the path I wanted to venture down in my little crochet business.
